About HTTP Status Codes
A searchable, filterable table of HTTP status codes that includes the numeric code, the reason phrase, and a one-sentence description of when each code applies. A category filter row (All, 1xx, 2xx, 3xx, 4xx, 5xx) narrows the list, and free-text search matches against code, phrase, and description.
How to Use
1. Type into the search box to filter across code, message, and description text. 2. Click a category chip (1xx through 5xx, or All) to restrict results to that response class. 3. The entry count above the table reflects the current filter, and each row is color-coded by category.
Reading the Table
Each row shows the Code in monospace with a category color (blue 1xx, green 2xx, yellow 3xx, orange 4xx, red 5xx), the message phrase, and a short description. The dataset omits a few codes present in some registries (for example 305 Use Proxy and 306 Switch Proxy are excluded) but includes common ones such as 418 I'm a teapot, 425 Too Early, 429 Too Many Requests, and 451 Unavailable For Legal Reasons.
