About Prompt Templates
Prompt Templates ships a built-in library of ready-to-use prompt scaffolds organized into three categories (development, writing, data) and exposes each template with its own variables. You browse templates by category, select one, fill in only the variables that template declares, and generate a finished prompt that substitutes every {variable} placeholder with your input before being copied to the clipboard.
How to Use
1. Use the category buttons at the bottom (all, development, writing, data) to filter the template grid. 2. Click a template card to open its generator; its name, description, and one input field per declared variable appear at the top. 3. Fill in each variable field (large multi-line fields are shown for code and text inputs). 4. Click Generate to substitute every {variable} in the template; the finished prompt appears in the output textarea and can be copied with the Copy button. To switch templates, click a different card in the browser below.
Built-in Template Library
Development: Code Review, Explain Code, Generate Unit Tests, Debug Code, Refactor Code, API Documentation. Writing: Blog Post, Email Draft, Summarize Text, Translation. Data: SQL Query Generator, Data Analysis. Each template lists its own variables (for example Code Review exposes {language} and {code}; Generate Unit Tests adds {testing_framework}; Debug Code exposes {error_message}, {expected}, and {actual}). Any variable you leave blank is preserved as a literal {name} token in the generated prompt.
