About Typst Viewer
Render Typst documents (.typ, .typst) into pages in the browser. The document is compiled and rendered locally via WebAssembly, so no file ever leaves your device.
How to Use
Upload or drag in a .typ or .typst file. The viewer loads the Typst compiler and renderer WASM modules, compiles the source, and displays the resulting pages.
Privacy
Compilation and rendering run entirely in your browser through WebAssembly. Nothing is uploaded to a server.
▶Which file extensions are supported?
Typst source files with .typ or .typst extensions. Large documents may take a few seconds to compile on first load as the WASM modules initialize.
▶Why is the first render slow?
The Typst compiler and renderer are large WASM binaries that must be downloaded and instantiated once. Subsequent renders within the same session are fast.
