About Color Blindness Simulator
Previews how a single hex color appears under seven color-vision conditions: protanopia, deuteranopia, tritanopia, protanomaly, deuteranomaly, tritanomaly, and achromatopsia (full grayscale). It applies standard simulation matrices to the RGB channels and shows the resulting hex value for each condition.
How to Use
1. Pick a color with the color swatch, or type/paste a hex value into the input. 2. The seven simulated swatches update automatically. 3. Click the copy icon beside any result hex to copy it. Click the Clear button to reset to the default #4CAF50.
Simulation Method
Each condition applies a fixed 3x3 RGB transform matrix (for example achromatopsia uses 0.299/0.587/0.114 luminance weights on all channels). This is a per-color preview only — the tool does not simulate whole images or apply the matrices to uploaded files.
