Discount Calculator

This tool applies a percentage discount to an original price and shows how much you save and what you pay. It takes the original price and a discount percentage, computes the savings as price * discount / 100, and the final price as price minus savings. Both outputs are displayed as dollar amounts to two decimals.

1. Enter Original Price (e.g. 100). 2. Enter Discount as a percentage (e.g. 20 for 20% off). 3. Press Calculate. The result card shows You Save (the dollar amount saved, in green) and Final Price (the amount you actually pay).

Saved = Original Price * Discount / 100. Final Price = Original Price - Saved. For example a 100 original price with a 20 discount yields a 20.00 saving and an 80.00 final price. The tool accepts any numeric price and any numeric discount percentage (including values over 100, which would produce a negative final price).
