Mouse Tester

This tool verifies that every button, the scroll wheel, and movement tracking on your mouse work correctly. As you interact with the dashed test area, it tallies left, middle, and right clicks, detects double clicks, accumulates scroll delta, and renders a fading trail of your pointer path so you can confirm tracking accuracy and click registration in real time.

1. Move your pointer anywhere inside the bordered test area; a fading OKLCH-colored trail follows the cursor. 2. Click inside the area with left, middle, or right buttons; the stats grid at the top increments per button and totals them. 3. Scroll the wheel inside the area to accumulate the deltaY scroll count. 4. Use the Reset button in the top-right to zero out all counters and clear the trail.

The stats grid reports eight live values: Left Click, Middle Click, and Right Click counts; a combined Click Count; a Double Click counter that fires whenever two clicks land within 300ms of each other; a Double Click Speed readout showing the threshold; a Scroll Count accumulating wheel delta; and a Movement value reflecting the current trail length, capped at the 50-point maximum trail. Each value updates instantly as you interact.
