Adding Watermarks to PDFs
PDF watermarks are text overlays applied to each page of a PDF document. They are used for document security (CONFIDENTIAL, DRAFT), branding, and copyright protection. Choose single placement or tiled pattern for full-page coverage.
How to Watermark a PDF
Upload a PDF file. Customize the watermark text, font size, color, opacity, rotation, and mode (single or tiled). Click Apply Watermark to process and download the result.
▶Can the watermark be removed?
High-opacity watermarks are difficult to remove without degrading the document. Low-opacity watermarks may be partially removable with PDF editing tools. For strong protection, use high opacity and tiled mode.
▶Does watermarking affect PDF text?
The watermark is overlaid on top of the existing content. It does not modify the original text but may make it harder to read if the opacity is too high.
