Placeholder Image Generator

Create simple placeholder PNGs by specifying width, height, background color, text color, and the text drawn in the center. Useful for wireframes, mockups, layout testing, and email templates where real assets are not yet available. Generation runs entirely client-side on a canvas element.

1. Enter Width and Height in pixels (minimum 1; non-numeric input falls back to 1). 2. Pick a Background Color using the color picker (default #CCCCCC). 3. Pick a Text Color (default #666666). 4. Edit the Text field - it defaults to "WIDTH x HEIGHT" but can be anything. 5. Click Generate to render the preview. 6. Click Download to save it as placeholder_<w>x<h>.png.

Output is always a PNG produced via canvas.toDataURL() with no parameter, so it is lossless but uncompressed. The text is drawn bold 24px Arial, center-aligned both horizontally and vertically. There is no upper-bound validation - very large dimensions are limited only by browser memory and may fail silently if the canvas allocation exceeds the device limit.
