Keyboard Shortcuts
Free online keyboard shortcut reference, VS Code/Chrome/Terminal
About Shortcut Reference
A searchable, read-only cheat sheet of keyboard shortcuts for five productivity surfaces: VS Code, Chrome DevTools, Terminal (Bash/Zsh), Windows, and macOS. Unlike a static list, every keystroke you type in the search box instantly filters across all categories by matching either the key combination (e.g. Ctrl+P) or the description text, hiding any category that ends up empty.
How to Use
1. Start typing in the search box at the top — your query matches shortcut keys or descriptions, case-insensitively. 2. Browse the grouped cards: each card holds one category (VS Code, Chrome DevTools, Terminal, Windows, macOS). 3. Each shortcut is rendered as a <kbd> key binding next to its action description. 4. Narrow your search (for example type "screenshot" or "Ctrl+Shift") to surface only matching rows; categories with no matches disappear entirely.
Covered Categories and Sample Bindings
The bundled categories are: - VS Code — 10 bindings including Ctrl+P (Quick open file), Ctrl+Shift+P (Command palette), Ctrl+D (Select next occurrence), Ctrl+Shift+K (Delete line), Ctrl+` (Toggle terminal). - Chrome DevTools — F12 / Ctrl+Shift+I (Open DevTools), Ctrl+Shift+C (Select element), Ctrl+Shift+J (Open Console), Ctrl+Shift+M (Toggle device mode), Ctrl+L (Clear console). - Terminal (Bash/Zsh) — Ctrl+R (Reverse search history), Ctrl+A / Ctrl+E (line start/end), Ctrl+W (Delete word backwards), Tab (Auto-complete). - Windows — Win+E, Win+D, Win+L, Alt+Tab, Win+Shift+S (Snip), Win+V (Clipboard history). - macOS — Cmd+Space (Spotlight), Cmd+Tab, Cmd+Shift+4 (Area screenshot), Cmd+Shift+3 (Full screenshot), Cmd+Q (Quit).
