About Tax Calculator (China IIT)
This tool estimates Chinese Individual Income Tax (IIT) on monthly salary under the comprehensive-income regime. Enter gross monthly salary, social insurance contributions, special additional deductions, and the monthly tax threshold; the tool computes taxable income, applies the 7-bracket progressive rate table with quick-deduction amounts, and returns tax owed, effective rate, and after-tax salary.
How to Use
1. Enter Gross Salary (monthly, e.g. 10000). 2. Enter Social Insurance (the five-insurance-and-one-fund portion withheld, e.g. 2000). 3. Enter Special Deduction (专项附加扣除, e.g. housing rent, children's education; 0 if none). 4. Enter the Threshold (起征点, default 5000). 5. The result updates live. Tap any result row to copy its value. The Tax Brackets table at the bottom shows the rate schedule in use.
IIT Brackets and Quick Deductions
Taxable income = max(0, gross − social − special − threshold). Brackets (taxable income ¥/month): ≤3,000 → 3%, quick deduction 0; ≤12,000 → 10%, −210; ≤25,000 → 20%, −1,410; ≤35,000 → 25%, −2,660; ≤55,000 → 30%, −4,410; ≤80,000 → 35%, −7,160; >80,000 → 45%, −15,160. Tax owed = taxable income × rate − quick deduction, clamped to ≥0. Effective rate = tax ÷ gross × 100. After-tax = gross − social − tax.
