About Coin Flip
This tool simulates a fair coin toss with a 3D-animated coin rendered in SVG. Each flip uses Math.random to choose heads or tails with equal probability, then plays a 1200-millisecond bounce and rotateX animation before revealing the result. It also keeps a timestamped history of every flip and computes running heads/tails percentages.
How to Use
1. Click the Flip button to toss the coin; the button is disabled during the animation. 2. Wait for the bounce animation (about 1.2 seconds) to finish; the result text updates to Heads or Tails. 3. Each result is added to the history list with its local time. 4. Use Clear History to wipe the list and reset the statistics.
Heads, Tails, and Statistics
The coin has two SVG faces: a gold 'H' face for heads and a silver 'T' face for tails. The rotation logic always lands on a multiple of 360 degrees plus the target face offset (0 for heads, 180 for tails) so the correct face shows after the spins. The statistics panel sums your history and shows total flips, the heads count with its percentage, and the tails count with its percentage.
