About Keyword Density Checker
Keyword Density Checker counts how often each word appears in a body of text and computes its density as a percentage of total words. It strips HTML tags and punctuation, ignores words shorter than three characters, lowercases everything for normalization, and displays the top 20 most frequent keywords in a ranked table with a total-word counter.
How to Use
1. Paste your content (plain text or HTML) into the input textarea. 2. Click the Analyze button to run the frequency pass. 3. Read the Total words count, which reflects only valid tokens (length greater than 2 after cleaning). 4. Review the ranked table of up to 20 keywords, sorted by count descending, showing the keyword, raw count, and density percentage colored by threshold.
Density Color Thresholds
The density column is colored to flag over-optimization: green when density is 2% or below (natural usage), yellow from above 2% to 3%, orange from above 3% to 5%, and red above 5% (likely keyword stuffing). Density is calculated as (word count / total words) * 100 and shown to two decimal places.
