Numeronym Generator

Converts each word in your text into its numeronym form: first letter, the count of omitted middle letters, then the last letter — the same convention behind i18n, a11y, l10n and k8s. Words of two characters or fewer pass through unchanged.

1. Type or paste words into the input textarea (space-separated). 2. The numeronym output updates live as you type. 3. Click Copy on the result card to copy the converted text. 4. Tap any example tile (internationalization → i18n, accessibility → a11y, etc.) to load it into the input.

Each whitespace-separated token is stripped of non-alphabetic characters before measurement, so punctuation and digits do not affect the count. The middle-digit count equals (length - 2); only tokens whose cleaned form has three or more letters get abbreviated. Non-alphabetic characters in the original token are preserved verbatim in the output.
