About Text Lines
Text Lines is a multi-mode line processor with three tabs: Add (prefix each line with a number and separator), Remove (strip a leading number-plus-separator prefix from each line), and Strip (delete all blank lines). It shows live input and output line counts, and supports copy and download of the result.
How to Use
1. Choose a mode from the Add / Remove / Strip tabs. 2. Paste your text into the Input area; the current line count is shown below it. 3. Adjust the mode-specific options (see below). 4. Click Process to produce the Output. 5. Use Copy to copy the result, or Download to save it as a .txt file named after the current mode (for example text-add-result.txt).
Mode Options Explained
Add mode options: - Start Number: integer the count begins at (default 1). - Separator: string placed between the number and the line content (default ". "). - Skip Empty: when checked, blank lines are not numbered. Remove mode option: - Separator: the exact separator that follows the number to strip (default ". "); it is regex-escaped, so special characters are matched literally. Strip mode: no options; every line whose trimmed content is empty is removed.
