About Periodic Table
Periodic Table renders the full 18-column, 7-period table of elements with color-coded categories (alkali, alkaline, transition, metal, metalloid, nonmetal, halogen, noble gas, lanthanide, actinide). Click any element to open a details modal with atomic number, symbol, atomic weight, category, period, group, and electron configuration. A search box filters elements by symbol, name, or atomic number.
How to Use
1. (Optional) Type in the search box to filter by symbol, name, or atomic number. 2. Click any colored element cell in the 18×7 grid. 3. In the modal, read atomic number, atomic weight, category, period, group (when present), and electron configuration. 4. Click the X or outside the modal to close it.
Category Colors & Search
Color legend maps to categories: red = alkali metals, orange = alkaline earth, yellow = transition metals, light blue = post-transition metals, teal = metalloids, green = nonmetals, purple = halogens, pink = noble gases, indigo = lanthanides, rose = actinides. Search matches a query case-insensitively against symbol, English name, or atomic number (numeric substring).
